Matt, I have lots of experience of same project type (I presume its a renovation). I charge €950 + €30 to SEAI to register the BER.
Three is a small grant against the BER cost. no VAT at the moment. There’s plenty of documentation to keep control of and plenty to store and send to SEAI. The pre-ber will guide all concerned how to get the B mortgage level BER. There’s a final BER to be done at the end.

Hi Matt, I would need more info if its new build or extension/renovation but I charge €550 (+€30 SEAI upload fee if published) for provisional BERs from drawings/spec giving you a detailed report to follow on how to achieve what you require. Happy to answer any questions
