Local hero Awards Presentation Night, Tree Top Restaurant, Clondalkin

From initially requesting nominations through a video online which received nearly 4K views here.

To an award ceremony with An Tanaiste Micheal Martin at Peamount Healthcare here, then the most recent presentation night, This experience has been very rewarding.

Special mention for local hero Ciara Fogarty who, was nominated more than once, however, instead, she agreed to get involved from the get go. I want to thank her for her efforts.

“Our aim is to unearth the hidden gems in our community. Prizes aside, we recognise unsung heroes. This means a lot to the winners and I’m delighted for them and their families.”

Local Hero Awards

Overall winners, St Brids Unit, Peamount Hospital, were treated to a lovely meal and drinks on the evening. The staff work tirelessly for their patients and our community, they deserve this night out and I’m delighted it was a pleasure to present them their prize for overall winners. Presentations were also made on the night to local groups Neart le cheile, Localize as well as 8 individual winners, listed hereunder.
