Our previous price to paint a 3 bed semi-d in Dublin 13, similar to those ones you are talking about we charged 2000 including the paint. Includes cleaning down wood and masonry, stabilising solution plus two coats of Stormshield plus a water base primer and finish on the wood. Facia and soffit wasn’t included in that price as was pvc. Extra €350 for facia and soffit.

Painting a 3 bed house price range
Price can range from €3K to €7K depending on a number of factors including but not limited to:
- Check if the price includes labour only, or materials or moving items out of the way
- A picture paints 1,000 words (excuse the pun). Try to get the best images you can over to the painting company for more accurate quotes.
- Painters are very busy at the moment. Some local painting services may not even reply to you if you don’t have accurate information such as doors, hinges, pictures, number of bedrooms, etc…
- What is the condition of all walls, ceilings?
- Is plastering required?
- What condition is the woodwork in? What colours and finish were used before? What is the finish of the new paint, and woodwork paint (oil or water base)?
- Do the ceilings need 1 or 2 coats of paint?
- Do the doors and skirtings require 1 or 2 coats of paint?
- Depending on the plastering required, it may take 1 hour or 1 day
- Is the house is empty? Or do we spend hours each day shifting furniture, every morning setting up the place and every evening clearing all back into the van. Some people don’t allow painters to leave their painting equiptment in the house.
